An incredible 1960s/70s Bonwit Teller evening gown in dramatic navy (jersey) and ivory (satin) color blocking. Cut in a long, sweeping A-line silhouette with fitted long sleeves and a sculptural high neckline that frames the face beautifully.
The deep navy bodice comes to a sharp V at the waist before opening into the contrasting ivory skirt, with navy repeated along the hem. The graphic construction feels remarkably modern—minimal, architectural, and almost futuristic despite its age. Finished with a back zip closure.
A striking piece of American fashion history from the legendary Bonwit Teller department store.
