Beautiful early 2000s Brooks Brothers two-piece suit crafted from 100% wool in a textured black and ivory weave. The fabric has an almost salt-and-pepper effect, giving the classic tailoring incredible depth and making the suit feel much less traditional. Fully lined.
The jacket is cut with a clean notched collar, two-button front, lightly shaped waist, and front welt pockets. Fully lined in black. The matching trousers sit at the waist with a straight, slightly relaxed leg and buttoned welt pockets at the back.
Such a good example of early 2000s Brooks Brothers tailoring—the classic construction contrasted with the heavily textured linen makes the whole suit feel surprisingly modern. Wear it together or break it apart; the trousers are especially good on their own with a simple white tee or tank.
