1950's Textured Swing Coat

Beautiful 1950s coat in black, crafted from a richly textured linen or linen-blend fabric with a beautifully irregular, slubbed weave. Cut in a relaxed A-line silhouette with a clean collarless neckline, three-quarter sleeves, covered button front, and oversized hip faux pockets. Deep inverted pleats through the lower portion create subtle volume and movement. Fully lined throughout.

The real detail is in the construction, the lower portion of the coat opens into deep inverted pleats, creating volume and movement while maintaining a beautifully architectural shape.

An understated but incredibly special piece of 1950s design that feels remarkably modern today.
